Ashdown Forest and 500 Acre Wood

Route: This area is famous for its connections with A.A. Milne and his books and we visit several idyllic locations linked to his stories. We start in the village of Hartfield and hike through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We ascend through Ashdown Forest with beautiful views across the countryside, join the Wealdway through the 500 Acre Wood and then return to Hartfield. Review on Tripadvisor.
