Ditchling Beacon and The Chattri Memorial

Route: A beautiful circular hike in the South Downs National Park.  Starting at the Clayton windmills, we follow the escarpment along the South Downs Way to Ditchling Beacon, then follow a tranquil valley to the isolated Chattri Memorial to Indian soldiers who died in the First World War.  We then walk back to the start via lovely countryside.
