Surrey Three Peaks Challenge
Route: This is an epic hike through the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you are challenged to ascend three ‘peaks’, all with spectacular views, in one day. We start by walking up Box Hill, famous for its Olympic cycle route. We then follow the Greensand Way to Leith Hill, the highest point in South East England. We continue to historic Holmbury Hill and then follow the North Downs Way back to our start point. We pass through a varied landscape from a vineyard to remote woodland, see fortifications from the Iron Age and the Second World War and hear about notable locals including the composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Refreshments and toilets available at the beginning, middle and end of the walk.
