Luddesdown and Cobham

Route: Available as a day walk or a night walk.  This hike is a circular route from Sole Street through the Kent Downs National Landscape  taking in vineyards, the hamlet of Luddesdown, isolated woodland, sections of the Wealdway and the North Downs Way, and Cobham Mausoleum.  We hear local stories including about Charles Dickens, and explore the chalk landscape.

Refreshments and toilets partway through the walk and at the end.

Cost: from £15 per person

Available: March – December

Rating: moderate to strenuous (due to some steep sections and parts that can be very muddy).

Distance: 10 miles / 16 km
