White Cliffs of Dover

Route: From the village of St. Margaret’s at Cliffe, we hike through the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful views over the English Channel.  We hear stories about the defence of the United Kingdom, crossings of the English Channel, and the connections to Ian Fleming’s famous spy stories.    The area is part of Kent’s Heritage Coast, recently rated 4th in Lonely Planet’s list of the world’s best regions to visit in 2022 – Best in Travel Top Regions.

Refreshments and toilets available at the beginning, middle and end of the walk.
